About
Kirara No Kai (KNK) is a dedicated non-governmental organization established in 1992 in Bangladesh, focused on empowering the most vulnerable communities, particularly women and children. Our mission is to drive sustainable socio-economic development through various initiatives, including microcredit, non-formal education, health services, and environmental conservation. We work at the grassroots level in some of the poorest regions of Bangladesh, providing support and opportunities for those in need. By fostering self-reliance and improving quality of life, KNK strives to create lasting change and uplift the lives of the underprivileged, ensuring a brighter future for all.
STANDING COMMITTEE
A Standing Committee is a permanent committee that addresses ongoing or recurring issues within an organization. Members of a Standing Committee regularly meet to discuss and manage specific areas of responsibility, such as finance, policy, or operations. These members are expected to have a deep understanding of their area of focus and provide continuous oversight and recommendations to ensure the organization’s long-term goals are met.
